about me

I am an Italian artist and designer. I have a multidisciplinary education and I focus my research on the field of human abilities, observing them from different points of view. I focus my attention on every detail of uses, habits, and how humans pass through spaces, both physically and virtually. Through the analysis of these practices, I ask myself about these crossings, and wonder for signs referring to some \"universal search for solutions\". My choice is often to work with fiction, preferring video and installations, to combine hypothetical realities with pure facts and information. I was born in Milan in 1986 and now I'm based in Alghero, Sardinia. I attended the Architecture and Design Department of Alghero achieving a BA in Industrial Design in 2011 and an MA in Communication Design in 2013. There, I start my research in Multimedia Languages (2014-2019). In 2018 I achieved an MFA in Multimedia Arts (Cinema and Video) at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan. I recently completed a PhD at the Department of Architecture and Design of Alghero and three years of teaching Multimedia Languages at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara. My work has been exhibited and screened, among others, at the Biennale de la jeune création contemporaine (Mulhouse), Triennale Design Museum (Milan), The Wrong-digital art biennale (Online), Screensaver Gallery (Online), Columbia University (NYC), FRAC Corte (Corse). I won the National Prize of Arts (Premio Nazionale delle Arti 2018, Italy) in the Electronic Art section.
