Technosymbiosis (household) is a series of works that explores the relationship between domestic life and the omnipresence/hyperstimulation of portable digital devices. Each room of the house is portrayed through a short sentence painted on an everyday object belonging to that specific space. The sentences allude to the consequences of our symbiotic coexistence with the effects—sometimes assimilated—of the constant use of the devices that accompany us even while carrying out ordinary activities within the home.
Although the relationship between domestic life and technology is at the core of the research behind the work, the pieces contain no technological elements: technology is observed as a condition rather than as a subject.

Bathroom is the first room of the series that has been realized and includes two works:

The image Mysterès de Paris - chamber pot comes from the book Clean and Decent by Lawrence Wright (1960). The fake stack of books, to be kept next to the bed, hides a chamber pot inside (18th century).

For each room, I've also produced a limited edition of original acrylic works (edition of 3), available in the shop.
